Due to high winds, Anglian Water have closed the site.
So we are shut today Monday 28th March and we will reopen tomorrow, Tuesday 29th March at 10am.
We apologies for any inconvenience this may cause.
Membership and dinghy storage renewals are due by 31st March 2016 in accordance with our rules.
Unfortunately, due to an increase in the rent we pay, 2016/17 charges have had to be increased, however, if membership is taken out or renewed before 31 March 2016, last year's prices will apply (sorry but this doesn't apply to dinghy storage charges).

The 2016 Frostbite series is so far an undoubted success and has attracted a greater number of entries than anticipated, especially with respect to the
number of ‘on-the-day entries’.
It is disappointing to turn anyone away and we wish to encourage all keen sailors to take part and so rather than declaring the entries closed as we have reached our stated maximum of 120 (which we anticipate includes dormant and subsequent no show entries), we are taking a pragmatic view to allow further entries while expecting to be able to manage the number of boats on the water. In the longer term we will look to encourage series entries such that we can balance fleets and start numbers.
For the remainder of the 2016 Frostbite series:-
The management team, whilst recognising the inconvenience of weekly booking, wish to give an opportunity to all local sailors to have the opportunity to experience the Alton Water Frostbite series.
We are pleased to announce that our 2016 RYA Training Courses have now been released for bookings.
As always there are courses for all age groups from 5 years old upwards for both dinghy sailing and windsurfing.
Many courses are very popular and fill up quickly, so check out our courses to be sure of getting a place for your budding sailor!
