Thinking of joining?

New members are always welcome and we take pride in making Alton Water a friendly, relaxed and informal place for new members.  We do not operate the practice of requiring those wishing to join to be nominated or seconded.  Just sign up, pay your fees and join us in enjoying the the water sports fun that is to be had at Alton Water.

How to join

Complete a Membership Application Form and hand to a member of staff or send in, together with the relevant fee.

Individual Race Card	£75		Entitles the holder to helming entry into all of our regular, Spring, Summer, Winter Warm-up, Winter and Frostbite race series together with any assocaited afternoon race series. If sailing with a non member crew, the crew must pay Day Extra Person fee Note: Individual family member may purchase an individual, non transferrable Race Card for the sole use of one named family members
Family Race Card	£120		Entitles holders of Family Membership to enter up to 2 adult and 3 children to race entry as above.  Race Card family member must helm an entry where a non Race Card holder is included on a race entry.  Where a crew is a non member, Day Extra Person fee must be paid
Day Extra Person	£5		Payable for day access when non member sails with a member as helm or crew

*Note:  Please note that there is a waiting list for storage spaces.  Upon joining, if you wish to have access to a Dinghy Park storage space, please advise our staff and request that you are added to our waiting list

Late Payment Fee

Renewal of Dinghy Park and Membership Fees are due by 1st April 2010.  Most members pay on time but a few need reminding.  For the 2010 season, the Management Committee have determined that there will be a 20% late payment fee for Dinghy Park and Membership fees where not paid by the due date. 

We have no wish to have to collect this late payment fee, but will do so where payments are received late.  We therefore request that all members ensure payments are received on or before the due date.
