TVSC is a newly emerging club growing as a result of Anglian Water’s takeover of operations at Alton Water. We organise racing on Alton Water Reservoir throughout the year and have a special commitment to the development of sailing and racing skills of all ages of sailor.
We are currently a small but growing band of sailors relying on members performing rescue boat and race officer duties to enable our programme to be delivered. Membership is open to all those who have paid their water access fee to Anglian Water. You can contact us at altonsailing@gmail.com
The Woolverstone Project provides sailing opportunities and tuition for those with disabilities with sailing throughout the year at Alton Water and during the summer months at Woolverstone on the River Orwell.
Using the DF 65 for one design racing is a cheap, fun and fast way to get into a rapidly growing sector of sailing. Whether you are expert or just a keen beginner you are welcome to join our club and see what radio controlled sailing is all about.
